UNESA Campus 5 Distributes Free Nutritious Meals on Second Day of UAS
December 17, 2025 – Continuing the spirit of care and support, UNESA Campus 5 once again distributed free nutritious breakfasts to all students taking the second day of the First Semester Final Examination (UAS) today.
This initiative is part of Universitas Negeri Surabaya’s strong commitment to the government’s Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) program. On the first day yesterday, hundreds of students received energy-boosting meals. Today, the same enthusiasm was seen again as students lined up happily before entering the examination rooms.
“On the second day many students told us they felt more focused and less tired because they had eaten well yesterday. That’s why we are even more motivated to keep providing this free nutritious breakfast every single day of UAS,” said the Head of Campus 5, warmly welcoming students this morning.

Each portion contains balanced nutrition: carbohydrate from rice or bread, protein from eggs and tempeh, vegetables, fruit, and a glass of milk – specially prepared to keep students sharp and full of energy until the last exam paper is finished.
Students were very enthusiastic. One of them, from the Elementary School Teacher Education program, said: “Yesterday I was really nervous, but after eating the free breakfast I felt much stronger. Today I came early on purpose so I wouldn’t miss it. Thank you Campus 5, this really helps us a lot!”
The distribution started at 06:30 this morning and finished right before the first exam session began. The same warm atmosphere was created: smiles, encouragement from lecturers, and photos together that will become beautiful memories.
UNESA Campus 5 plans to continue this free nutritious meal program every day throughout the UAS period. This is concrete evidence that “Kampus Growing with Character” does not only teach in class, but also takes care of students’ physical and mental health.
Stay tuned for Day 3 tomorrow – more free nutritious breakfasts, more energy, and more success for all UNESA Campus 5 students!
