Universitas Negeri Surabaya Wins 12 Awards at the 2025 Diktisaintek Awards
Universitas Negeri Surabaya (Unesa) has once again demonstrated its strong institutional performance by securing 12 awards at the 2025 Diktisaintek Awards, organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia. The achievements were earned in the State-Owned Legal Entity University (PTNBH) category.
At this prestigious national event, Unesa recorded an impressive medal tally consisting of 7 Gold awards, 3 Silver awards, and 2 Bronze awards. These results reflect excellence across multiple strategic areas, including higher education governance, learning innovation, cooperation, public relations, data management, planning, and research productivity.
In the Higher Education Award category, Unesa received a Gold Award for its achievement in the Key Performance Indicators (IKU) 2024, highlighting the university’s strong performance in education quality, graduate outcomes, and institutional effectiveness.
Unesa also excelled in the Learning and Student Affairs category through the SPADA Awards, earning two Gold Awards as the university with the highest contribution of online courses productively accessed in 2025 and as the most active Learning Management System at the national level.
In the field of cooperation, Unesa received Gold Awards for Best Cooperation Reporting Management and Best Cooperation with Government and Non-Governmental Organizations, along with a Bronze Award for International Cooperation. These achievements underscore Unesa’s commitment to strengthening strategic partnerships at local, national, and international levels.
The university’s public communication performance was recognized in the Public Relations category, where Unesa earned Gold Awards for Social Media Management and Press Releases, as well as a Silver Award for Integrated Service Units.
Further recognition was achieved in institutional governance, with a Silver Award for Best PDDIKTI Data Reporting under the Data and Information category and another Silver Award for Best Implementation of the Government Performance Accountability System (SAKIP) 2024 in the Planning category.
In the Research and Development category through the SINTA Award, Unesa received a Bronze Award for Lecturer Publication Productivity, awarded to Binar Kurnia Prahani. This recognition reflects Unesa’s continuous commitment to strengthening research quality and academic contribution.
