UNESA Campus 5 Students Participate in the Kick-Off of the Impactful Students Academic Mobility Program for the 2026/2027 Semester
UNESA 5 – Students from Universitas Negeri Surabaya (UNESA) Campus 5 Magetan participated in the Kick-Off of the Impactful Students Academic Mobility Program for the 2026/2027 Odd Semester, held at the UNESA Rectorate Courtyard, Lidah Wetan Campus, Surabaya, on Monday (July 27, 2026). The event marked the official launch of the Academic Mobility Program, an initiative designed to broaden students' learning experiences through interdisciplinary collaboration, cross-campus engagement, and strategic partnerships. The participation of the 2024 student cohort, including representatives from UNESA Campus 5 Magetan, forms part of the Academic Mobility Program, which carries a 2-credit (2 SKS) academic component.
The event brought together hundreds of students in a vibrant and inspiring atmosphere. The ceremonial opening featured a spectacular Reog cultural performance, a parade of Academic Mobility delegates carrying flags representing various academic fields, and the singing of the Indonesian National Anthem and the UNESA Hymn. The celebration was further enriched by the presence of representatives from local governments, industry partners, and educational institutions, demonstrating their strong support for strengthening UNESA's Academic Mobility Program.
During the ceremony, the Rector of Universitas Negeri Surabaya, Prof. Dr. Nurhasan, M.Kes., officially launched the Impactful Students Academic Mobility Program 2026. The highlight of the event was a symbolic vesting ceremony involving student representatives from diverse backgrounds, including students with disabilities, students from Papua, international students, and regular students. This symbolic gesture reflected UNESA's commitment to promoting an inclusive, innovative, and impactful higher education environment that embraces diversity and equal opportunities for all learners.
Throughout the program, students from UNESA Campus 5 Magetan actively participated in every session, demonstrating their enthusiasm and readiness to engage in various academic mobility activities during the 2026/2027 Odd Semester. Through this initiative, students are expected to expand their academic and professional competencies, develop broader perspectives, strengthen collaborative skills, and gain meaningful learning experiences beyond their home campus.

The event concluded with an interactive ice-breaking session, a collective prayer, musical performances, and a networking gathering between the university leaders and stakeholders.
