UNESA Campus 5 Strengthens Global Partnership with COMSATS University Islamabad through LPDP-Sponsored Matchmaking Program
April, 2026 - UNESA Campus 5 continues to expand its international collaboration by participating in a prestigious matchmaking program with COMSATS University Islamabad, supported by LPDP. This strategic initiative aims to foster long-term academic partnerships and strengthen global engagement in higher education.
The program centers on several key agendas, including the development of double-degree and international class benchmarking, student and staff mobility programs, as well as collaborative research initiatives. These efforts reflect a shared commitment to enhancing academic quality and cross-cultural academic exchange between the two institutions.
A major highlight of the program is the research collaboration between the Director of UNESA Campus 5 and Dr. Nabila Khurshid from COMSATS University Islamabad. Their joint research project, entitled “Parental Strategies in Instilling Integrity to Build a Culture of Anti-Corruption in Javanese Society,” seeks to explore how parenting practices can contribute to fostering integrity and anti-corruption values within Javanese society. This study is expected to offer a fresh and meaningful perspective on the role of family upbringing in shaping ethical behavior.
The matchmaking program also involved key representatives from both institutions, including Mr. Gading as the Vice Director of UNESA Campus 5, and Dr. Mudassar Rashid as the Head of the Department of Economics from COMSATS University Islamabad. Their participation emphasized the importance of institutional leadership in driving international collaboration forward.
Support for international cooperation was further strengthened by the involvement of Adhitya Amarulloh, who plays a role in facilitating international partnerships, and Mr. Muhammad Azam, Treasurer of COMSATS University Islamabad, whose presence highlights the institutional commitment to sustainable collaboration.
Through this program, UNESA Campus 5 reaffirms its dedication to building global academic networks and contributing to impactful research that addresses societal challenges. The collaboration with COMSATS University Islamabad is expected to open new opportunities for students, faculty, and researchers, while also strengthening the global presence of both institutions.
