Unesa Campus 5 Showcases Tepedia and Re-Plated Innovations at INNOVNESA #3
Surabaya, 24–26 November 2025, Universitas Negeri Surabayasuccessfully held INNOVNESA #3 – Unesa Innovation Product Exhibition, an annualshowcase of innovative works developed by students, lecturers, and industrypartners. Hosted at the Ground Floor of the Unesa Rectorate Building, LidahWetan, Surabaya, the event reaffirmed Unesa’s commitment to strengthening aculture of research, creativity, and sustainable innovation.
Carrying the theme “Shaping a Sustainable Future throughCreativity & Collaboration,” this year’s exhibition presented more than onehundred featured products across diverse innovation zones. The event alsoincluded key agenda items such as the Innovation Talkshow, Collaborative Forumfor Innovators & Start-Ups, Business Matching Sessions, the STEMOVATIONCompetition, and the prestigious Innovation Awards, all of which contributed toadvancing a comprehensive national innovation ecosystem.
Unesa Magetan Campus Highlights: Edutech and SocialInnovation for Sustainability
In this year’s exhibition, Unesa Magetan Campus gainedconsiderable attention by presenting two flagship innovations in the EdutechArea: Tepedia and Re-Plated.
Tepedia: A Modern Digital Library for Enhanced Literacy andDigital Learning
Tepedia is a modern digital library designed to broadenstudents’ access to high-quality learning resources. The platform integratesdigital book collections, educational web content, and a Learning ManagementSystem into a unified digital ecosystem.
Key features include virtual learning rooms, online bookborrowing, and 24/7 access through a streamlined and user-friendly interface.With these capabilities, Tepedia supports flexible learning while strengtheningstudents’ digital literacy—an essential competency in today’s educationallandscape.
Re-Plated: A Social Innovation Platform for Food Securityand Waste Reduction
Unesa Magetan Campus also introduced Re-Plated, a socialinnovation platform focused on connecting surplus food from donors, localbusinesses, and food vendors with communities in need. By addressing issues offood waste and local food security, Re-Plated demonstrates a practical andtechnology-driven approach to social impact.
The platform documents real stories from contributingpartners and beneficiaries—such as Toko Roti Berkah and several localfamilies—showing how surplus food can be distributed efficiently andresponsibly. This initiative aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs), particularly those related to zero hunger and responsible consumption.
Strengthening the Innovative Branding of Unesa Campus 5
The participation of Unesa Magetan Campus in INNOVNESA #3strengthens its position as a regional hub for educational innovation in Madiunand its surrounding areas. Both Tepedia and Re-Plated were well received byvisitors, including academics, industry practitioners, and representatives ofgovernment institutions. Their contributions highlight the campus’s efforts toaddress emerging societal needs through relevant, impactful innovations.
