UNESA Campus 5 Conducts Oath-taking Ceremony for 2025 Pemira KPU and Banwas Committees
12th of December 2025 - UNESA Campus 5 held a formal inauguration and oath-taking ceremonytoday for the newly appointed members of the General Student Election (Pemira)Commission, KPU and Banwas, for the 2025 period. The event markedan important milestone in the preparation for the upcoming student democraticprocess at the campus.
A total of 14 students were officiallyinducted, comprising seven members of the KPU and seven members ofthe Banwas. The KPU members come from diverse academic backgrounds,including Mathematics Education, Informatics, Management, Law, and PrimarySchool Teacher Education (PGSD). Meanwhile, the Banwas committee consists ofstudents from Management, Communication Science, PGSD, Mathematics Education,and English Literature. Their academic diversity is expected to enrich theintegrity and objectivity of the election management process.
The ceremony opened with the solemn singing ofthe national anthem Indonesia Raya, followed by the UNESA march,reflecting the institution’s values and spirit. The program proceeded with theofficial induction and oath-taking of all committee members, led directly bythe Vice Director of UNESA Campus 5, Dr. Anna Noordia, S.TP., M.Kes. Inher remarks, she emphasized the importance of responsibility, neutrality, andethical conduct in carrying out their duties during the Pemira 2025.
She also highlighted the strategic role ofboth KPU and Banwas in ensuring that the student election is conducted in atransparent, accountable, and democratic manner. “The integrity of Pemiradepends not only on the system but also on the commitment and professionalismof the committees who serve,” she stated.
With their inauguration, the KPU and Banwasmembers are now formally authorized to begin preparing all stages of the Pemiraprocess, including socialization, registration, supervision, and monitoring ofthe election implementation. UNESA Campus 5 hopes that the committees willcarry out their responsibilities with dedication and uphold the values ofhonesty and fairness throughout the entire democratic process.
