UNESA 5 Opens the 2nd Campus Soccer Championship 2025 for East Java High Schools Competing for the UNESA 5 Campus Director’s Cup

Magetan, November 17, 2025 — UNESA 5 Campus officially inaugurated the 2nd UNESA 5Campus Soccer Championship 2025, a prestigious football competition in which 19 teams from senior high schools, vocational schools, and Islamic senior high schools (SMA/SMK/MA) across East Java are competing for the UNESA 5 Campus Director’s Cup. The Opening Ceremony took place at Maospati Field, Magetan Regency, on Monday (17/11).

The event commenced at 07.00 AM and was attended by the leadership of UNESA 5 Campus, along with key stakeholders including representatives from the local Police Department, Magetan Regency KONI, Magetan Regency PSSI, Magetan Regency Education Office Branch (Kacabdin), Magetan Regency Youth and Sports Office (Dikpora) Sports Division, village officials, and principals from surrounding high schools. Their attendance highlighted strong collaborative support for advancing youth sports development in the region.

As a major annual agenda, this championship promotes student talent development in football, fosters strong sportsman like character, and strengthens cooperative relations between educational institutions. The tournament also demonstrates UNESA 5’s commitment to ensuring growth in both academic and non-academic excellence among the younger generation.

The competition will run from November 17–20, 2025, using an elimination-based format leading up to the grand final and trophy awarding ceremony. The championship is expected to contribute to higher-quality football development at the school level while reinforcing UNESA 5’s role in community engagement and student empowerment.
