ICAPSTURE 2026 Extends Paper Submission Deadline, Invites Global Researchers to Advance Sustainable Future through Applied Physics
Campus UNESA 5, Indonesia – The International Conference on Applied Physics for Sustainable Future (ICAPSTURE) 2026 has officially announced an extension of its paper submission deadline, providing researchers, academics, students, and practitioners with additional opportunities to contribute their latest findings to this prestigious international conference. The event will be held on August 5–6, 2026, at Grand H.A.P Kintamani Hotel & Villa Sarangan, Magetan, Indonesia, under the theme “Integrating Applied Physics for Sustainable Future.”
Organized with the support of Universitas Negeri Surabaya (UNESA) and various national and international partners, ICAPSTURE 2026 serves as a global platform for scholars and professionals to exchange ideas, present innovative research, and foster interdisciplinary collaboration in applied physics and sustainable development.
The conference will be officially opened by Prof. Dr. Nurhasan, M.Kes., Rector of Universitas Negeri Surabaya. The event will also feature distinguished keynote speakers from leading institutions around the world, including Prof. Dr. Michael Philips from Monash University, Australia; Prof. Dr. hab. inż. Jacek Ryl from Gdańsk University of Technology, Poland; and Prof. Paulus Insap Santosa, M.Sc., Ph.D. from Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia.
In addition, several prominent invited speakers will share their expertise, including A. Amiruddin, Ph.D., Director of Electricity Program Development at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of Indonesia; Assoc. Prof. Toh Tin Lam from the National Institute of Education, Singapore; and Prof. Nadi Suprapto from Universitas Negeri Surabaya.
ICAPSTURE 2026 will cover a wide range of contemporary topics in applied physics, including Computational Physics and Simulation, Physics-Informed Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Renewable Energy and Storage Technologies, Advanced Materials and Nanotechnology, Smart Sensors and IoT Instrumentation, Biophysics and Medical Physics, Optics and Photonics, Geophysics and Environmental Modeling, Cyber-Physical Systems and Robotics, Signal and Image Processing in Physics, and Nuclear and Particle Physics Applications.
A major highlight of the conference is the opportunity for accepted papers to be published in the IOP Conference Series, which is widely recognized in the international scientific community and indexed in major academic databases, including Scopus, subject to publisher requirements and review processes.
Following the extension, the full paper submission deadline has been moved to June 30, 2026, while the conference itself will take place on August 5–6, 2026. The extended timeline is expected to encourage broader participation from researchers and institutions worldwide.
