UNESA Campus 5 and Magetan Regency Government Strengthen Synergy through Ramadan Iftar and Entrepreneurship Bazaar
March 5, 2026 — UNESA Campus 5 (PSDKU UNESA Magetan) will organize a Ramadan Iftar Gathering 1447 H combined with a Student Entrepreneurship and UMKM Bazaar, held on Friday, March 6, 2026, starting at 2:00 PM at the Main Gate of UNESA Campus 5.
The event carried the theme:
“Weaving the Harmony of Ramadan: Synergy between the Academic Community of UNESA Campus 5 and the Local Government in Strengthening Social Care and Shared Blessings.”
As part of the social engagement initiative, 5000 free takjil (iftar meal packages) were distributed to the community, reinforcing the spirit of solidarity and compassion during the holy month of Ramadan.

Primary School Teacher Education (PGSD) – Smart Nutrition & Golden Generation

Mathematics Education – M Food & Digital/Manual Learning Media Exhibition

Participation of 100 (UMKM) from Magetan Regency
The bazaar was further enlivened by 100 Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) from Magetan Regency, offering a wide range of products, including:
Traditional and modern beverages (fresh juices, coffee, matcha, boba, milk-based drinks)
Main dishes (rice bowls, nasi pecel, grilled chicken rice, nasi uduk)
Snacks and street food (dimsum, kebabs, burgers, corndogs, sushi, kimbab, gyoza)
Traditional delicacies (jenang, cenil, pentol, tahu walik, cilok)
Processed and frozen food products
Various creative and local MSME products
This collaboration strengthens the local creative economy and provides a real marketplace for community-based entrepreneurs.
This event reflects UNESA Campus 5’s commitment to advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through integrated academic and community engagement. By promoting entrepreneurship-based learning and experiential projects, the program supports SDG 4 (Quality Education). The involvement of 100 MSMEs and the creation of a marketplace for local products contribute to SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) by encouraging inclusive economic development. The collaboration between the university and the Magetan Regency Government strengthens SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), while the distribution of 500 free iftar meal packages embodies social solidarity aligned with SDG 1 (No Poverty) and SDG 2 (Zero Hunger). Furthermore, by fostering community-centered activities and local empowerment, the initiative contributes to SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities).
Through this Ramadan gathering and entrepreneurship bazaar, UNESA Campus 5 reaffirmed its role not only as an academic institution but also as a catalyst for social responsibility, economic empowerment, and sustainable regional development.
